About me

About me . . .

I’ve worked as an editor and grantwriter since the 1990s, and I founded Introspection Editing and Consulting in 2013 so I could focus my attention more fully on helping my clients achieve their goals.

As an editor, I’ve completed more than 250 book-length projects, working with authors from around the world and with a number of university presses and trade publishers.

As a grantwriter, I’ve written proposals that have generated hundreds of thousands of dollars for the important work of nonprofit organizations. After working for decades for nonprofit organizations and serving on their boards, I have a keen understanding of the challenges organiations face sharing their successes and creating sustainable funding streams.

I’ve also worked for twenty years as a college professor, teaching undergraduate philosophy, humanities, and writing courses, helping thousands of students think more clearly and communicate more effectively. Hundreds more students are enrolled in my online video courses.

That combination of experiences leaves me well-situated to support you as you achieve your goals!

Among my recent publications is “Responses by White Christians to Recent Latino Immigration in the Rural U.S. Midwest,” in Religions.
